Temple Trip

Well, there weren't many but the YM went to the Temple on Thursday night to do baptisms.  Lucky Udo (not pictured) was the other Aaronic Priesthood member in attendance as well as 2 young men from the St Johns ward.  It's always good to be in the temple.  Hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day weekend.

Paddle boarding

Last night (Wednesday), we tried Paddle Boarding on the Willamette River, thanks to the free demo offered by Alder Creek Kayak & Canoe.  With the help of Summer Stephens (who graciously agreed to help shuttle the group down to the waterfront on short notice), we got down there about 5:45, signed in, got some instructions from the Alder Creek folks, and promptly got into the river.  Everyone got a chance to get on a paddle board for 15 or 20 minutes.  About half of us ended up in the river unintentionally - pretty much everyone got into the river from the dock of their own volition (well, except for Nathan...)

After the paddle boarding, jumping off the dock was the next round of entertainment - Tiegue, Damon, Ryan, and Tanner do their best "High School Musical" imitation
